Douglas Murphy
Founder and President
Douglas Murphy is an energy entrepreneur who has developed a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects ranging from greenfield development to acquisition and repowering initiatives. He brings more than forty years of professional experience across energy production, project development, and hazardous waste remediation and processing, with a strong emphasis on renewable and clean energy projects.
Throughout his career, Douglas has led and supported numerous project management assignments involving wind, solar, geothermal, and other clean energy technologies. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development and financing through construction, refurbishment, and long-term operations. His leadership continues to shape Murphy International’s disciplined, execution-focused approach to energy development.

David Abraham
Chief Financial Officer
David Abraham has served as Chief Financial Officer and advisor to companies across the energy, media, and telecommunications sectors. As an independent advisor, he has completed more than $800 million in transactions, including private placements of debt and equity, strategic partner transactions, asset sales and acquisitions, and complex project financings.
In addition to transactional leadership, David has managed turnaround assignments, strategic planning initiatives, market research studies, and technology assessment projects. His career began in engineering roles within the energy industry, followed by executive leadership as Vice President of Operations and Finance for a cable television multiple system operator.
David holds an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business, a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an American Electric Power Fellow, and a Bachelor of Science in Electric Power Engineering.

Bevin Etienne
Technical Director
Bevin Etienne brings more than a decade of experience in the research, development, and deployment of renewable energy technologies. His expertise includes renewable energy resource assessment, small-scale renewable energy solutions, commercial and industrial energy audits, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Bevin has designed and installed hybrid energy systems incorporating solar and wind technologies and has engineered rural electrification systems in diverse environments. His project experience includes planning and development for wind, geothermal, thermal, and solar photovoltaic projects, as well as economic and financial modeling for power plants and energy systems.
His work also includes life-cycle analysis, technology trade-off studies, optimization modeling with a focus on supply and demand-side energy management, and the development of control solutions for hybrid systems and grid integration.

John A. Proctor
Marketing Director
A ninth-generation West Virginian, John Proctor is a Huntington, West Virginia native with academic degrees in History from Marshall University and a Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University College of Law. He and his family relocated to Charlestown, New Hampshire to support Murphy International’s participation in the renewable energy transformation occurring throughout New England.
In 2000, John was a founder of a U.S.-based, Denmark-licensed wind turbine manufacturing company, Specialized Power Systems. Murphy International became an early investor and strategic partner in the venture. Together, they established manufacturing operations, developed supply chains, and built a pipeline of utility-scale and community-based wind projects.
These efforts included participation in landmark projects such as the world’s first wind-powered skyscraper, the Bahrain World Trade Center twin towers.

Omar Zevallos
Engineering Director
Omar Zevallos brings more than 30 years of domestic and international experience in the energy sector, having held senior technical and leadership roles including Engineering Director, Regional Manager, Project Director, Project Manager, Business Developer, ERP Process Leader, and Consultant.
As a Regional Manager, Omar was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of power projects with a combined contract value exceeding $3 billion, spanning multiple power generation technologies and fuel types. More recently, he led a team of project managers for a major American multinational conglomerate, executing 32 thermal power projects across 9 countries for 21 customers, with a total contract value of $3 billion.
His leadership emphasized risk mitigation, margin improvement, on-time delivery, cash flow management, and overall project and customer satisfaction.

Tatsuro Seguchi
Executive Development Partner
Tatsuro Seguchi serves as a principal development partner during the execution of large-scale power generation projects. He is a founding shareholder of Energy Initiatives Japan and brings extensive international experience in power and energy development.
Prior to establishing his company in 2005, Mr. Seguchi served as Head of Japan for International Power, a UK-based electric power company. Earlier in his career, he was the founder and CEO of E Power Corp., a power development company sponsored by Enron Corporation, Orix Corporation, and Yazaki Corporation of Japan.
Mr. Seguchi began his career at Marubeni Corporation, a major Japanese trading firm, and later served as Vice President at Sithe Energies in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Commerce from Keio University and also serves as an executive director of Energy Business Solutions Co., Ltd.
